Interesting and challenging plant. On sunny to semi-shady spot also. The temperature in winter should not fall below 10 C. Continuously grow well. Form a long overhang. During the summer, interesting flowers.
It can be transplanted every few years to a common ground with admixture of sand. Watering should follow only after drying of the root ball. Fertilize in summer only about once a month. Suitable rods are blended with guano.
